Juicer broke!!!

My Jack Lalanne juicer that I just got yesterday broke :( :( :( . A peg on the metal bar that locks the top onto the juicer snapped clean off. I was just using the juier exactly as the diretions recommend!

where did you get it from?

I bought it off of Craig's list, used, from some folks who live nearby my college. They claim the juicer had only been used once. I believe them -- it looks as good as new. Now, on the third use, it is broken. It is a couple of years old, so the warentee is gone. Also, I don't have the warentee on it because I didn't buy it orginally.

I'm going to buy some super glue at the bookstore today and see if that helps.

That's too bad, however... I read the reviews of that juicer and they were not good. Apparently it does not hold up at all well.

That's the chance we take with craigslist. I bought a washer for $500 that was broken. But on the flip side..we got a killer laptop for $500 that works great. So, you win some..you lose some.

I have no problems with mine, maybe you screwed it too tight. You know how much STRENGTH you have.:D Hope you find another one.

Lol, spicy! Maybe I was too forceful with it.
I guess it was meant to be. I'll take this as an opportunity to get the juicer I always wanted, instead of just scrambling for a good deal.
