I love baby spinach....it's one food I have always hated cooked, but loved raw!

Yeah! Great for you! :D I love baby spinach so much too. YUM! And really, eating it raw is sooooo much better. The old cooked way reminded me of boogers.

Everybody now! EWWWWWWWWWW! :eek: :p

I love the stuff too, though I never had it until I was 25 or so. The idea of boiling it into submission is just fundamentally wrong.

Yeah, my husband mentioned the canned spinach, I have to agree - boogers. Just think what Popeye could have done if he'd eaten raw! He might even have made friends with Bluto!!

Ok. Now I'm just being silly.

Since I quit the salt - spinach really tastes salty to me. I think instead of craving salt I was craving spinach!!

In a similar vein, I gather that people actually boil mustard greens into submission the same way. Oh the horror!
