OMG Alissa's Cheeses and Ice Creams

I just wanted to say Alissas's cheese and ice cream are INCREDIBLE!!

I just received some of her cheeses and ice creams yesterday and of course had to try them - and I can't find any words that describe it the way it should be described - but nothing but AMAZING!!!

First I had some of her strawberry ice cream and man oh man with huge strawberry chunks it it and you would NEVER know it was raw - tastes just like ice cream and it is SO tasty to - almost ate the whole tub LOL...but did finally put it down...

Then I cracked open her Cilantro Habanero Macadamia Cheese and had some on crackers and pasta for dinner - absolutley delicious, so smooth and creamy....my friends husband and stepson tried it on some crackers and thought is was awesome as well... her husband was like "Is this some of your healthy food" LOL..said YEPPERS - they both loved it - even left them some in a small cup for crackers later - her husband said he is an expert at cheese and just loved it - so I am sure they all will be ordering some soon LOL

You truly would NEVER know any of this was raw and even healthy for you - it truly is worth the money - I know times are tough now with the economy & money believe me I know :( but when you get a chance definately treat yourself - you will NOT be disappointed or even try for the holidays!!! They are so good that you truly have to force yourself (At least I did) to put it down or you could eat the whole darn tub LOL

You can keep these in the freezer before thawing for months ...I have to save some for my mom to try since she read Alissa's whole book and supports what I am doing 100% and she may even do this way of eating when she gets back from the cottage in a couple weeks and will help me whip up some of Alissa's recipes with the dehydrator :)

Her stuff is truly to me the best in taste and quality!! I will be in Boston for holiday shopping in Dec and plan to visit Alissa's Restaurant for some of her Ravioli's :)

I will keep you posted on some of the others I got - such as Herb Garlic Cheeae which I have thawing out in the refrigerator as we speak :)

Tonight I tried the Herb & Garlic Cheese and alittle bit of the Dark Chocolate Ice Cream - I don't mean to sound like a broken record...so creamy and you would NEVER know it was raw and not dairy - it is totally incredible and just blows my mind...

How long does it take for the ice cream to thaw? Do you leave it out on a counter or in the fridge to thaw? Thanks.

If I remember correctly I don't have the paperwork on me but I think you take the icecream and thaw out on countertop for about an hour - didn't take long at all....the cheese the recommend to out in refrig and let thaw out for a day but mine didnt even take that long - awesome....brought some to a weekend function and everyone loved it - one even wants the site to order some herself and these people arent even vegetarians or raw - just regular SAD - it is amazing stuff....all are awesome but my fave is the Herb & Garlic Cheese and possibky the dark chocolate or mocha brownie ice cream....

Got my order today!!! 2 ice creams and 3 cheeses! I tasted both ice creams, and they are so YUMMY! And, I only needed a tiny bit to feel satisfied, unlike 'real' ice cream. So, even though they are more expensive, I think it will really even out in the long run. mmmm!!!

My fave cheeses are the Herb & Garlic and the Miso Cheese...all are good but those two are my faves...

Ice cream I would say the dark chocolate and the Mocha Brownie...would be my faves but love the strawberry and vanilla chip...they truly are all good...going to order some more this week....

I am not sure - I received the strawberry but did not see it on the list that I received from Grezzo's in my email....

I am ordering about 5 more pints (Prob 4 cheeses and 1 ice cream since I love and use the cheese more) this week (some for holidays since last in freezer for a couple months and a few for now) and I will ask if they still have the strawberry ice cream....
