This was in the paper today, BR "The Advocate" article by Bob Souvestre detailing "flavors" and other points about different sprouts. Thought it might be helpful.
Adzuki Beans - sweet nutty flavor
Alfalfa - Universal appeal
Basil - Aniseed flavor and fragrance
Beet - Sow year-round
Broccoli - Most nutritious sprout
Chickpea - Crunchy, mild and full of fiber
Fenugreek - spciy curry flavor
Green peas - Sweet tasting
Lentil - High in Vitamins A and C
Mung beans - Great in stir-fry (apparently he's not raw)
Onion - mild onion flavor (makes sense)
Radish - Adds tangy taste to foods
Rocket (??) - For those who want a bit of bite
Snow peas - Produces excellent sprouts
Sunflower - Adds some crunch to your diet
