That thing in my stomach or the one in my head - I hear both!
Sweetlips, I thought the same thing when I read her question!!! I hear my stomach all the time! Then, when I eat crap....I hear my head growl at myself!
I have a feeling I haven't heard it, so I'm interested to see what VV is talking about.

VV are you speaking of the HOWL? or sometimes called the "Growl" within the Earth?
YES, I hear it.
But only a few do.
I also can feel an Earthquake coming on, I get slightly nauseus about 2 hours before an Earthquake in our area.
I have heard that this is for people who are attuned to their place on this planet.
I may be wrong.
Is this what you meant?
If so, not many people have heard of this phenomenon.
Let me know if I am totally off track here.
Do you hear it too?
I live on the water near the Mountains, so I think it is easier to hear when you are in the country, but many say they hear it when in the dessert.
PS: just found out that alot of people call it the "ROAR" of the Earth spirit.

HEY VV,
Yep it is like a low rumbling roar, or like you say growl, that is almost a vibration, but really hard to explain to anyone who doesn't feel or hear it.
It's like the earth is breathing or something, although It doesn't necessarily have a specific rythum. per se'.
anyway, glad I got it right and won the prize.
I mean--there is a prize isn't there? LOL

It came to me more as a child, now that I think about it. I didn't even know what it was then. I don't sense it as strongly as those who are really attuned to it. In fact, I think I lost my touch with it. Hopefully I'll be able to sense it again someday.
For some reason, this is reminding me of that movie "Fern Gully".

Misslinda, already got one of those :o), but two is even better.
jennarose, you will feel/hear it again.
You just need to get out in the country, where you can actually place bare feet on the ground, and be still inside, and allow the Earth spirit to speak.
Or, you can actually feel/hear it in the city, but it is a tough one, because of so much energy around you.

I used to see "visions" in my mind alot! - they dont come to me as often ,and I communicated with spirits ,but since moving to this OLD house Ive blocked that to protect myself from the dark aura around :( ............but I still hear the 'growl' loud and clear!

autumn,
rotflmo!
mine used to do that until he went raw. before he went raw it was hell though. i couldnt sleep! i couldnt think! he had this variety of awful sounds (grunting like a pig, long and loud like a lawnmower, he had another sound he used to make with his lips), finally he went to the doctor for it--its called "sleep apnia"--and the doctor told him "to lose weight" in order to cure it. so i got hubby off those carbs and i can finally sleep. sometimes he used to snore so loud he'd wake HIMSELF up. lol!
