First of all, I'm just now trying to get back to my raw diet after the storm. When we were without lights and food was hard to find, I kind of fell off the boat but I'm ready to get back on.

I'm thinking about doing a few days of all fruits and veggies like a juice fast type of thing BUT I don't have a juicer. Would it be almost as good if I just ate smoothies with fruits and lots of veggies?

Then I would like to cleanse my system of any parasites that I might have. What can you guys recommend for me to use?

Thanks so much,
Erika

Head up our fasting thread...lots of great advice and wisdom. :) There are so many ways to fast/cleanse- juice, water, smoothies, master cleanse etc. Some people consider just doing raw a fast/cleanse. I guess it depends upon the intesity and speed you wish to cleanse. Good luck to you!

The one I used was from Blessed Herbs. It was a cleanse that suggested a 5-9 day fast. It was a very detailed cleansing system and it did just what was promised. The hardest part for me was the last few days, but by that time the mucoid plaque was already passing successfully.

I'm thinking of doing a para-cleanse also, but I'm gonna give myself some time, since I just did the cleanse in April. Hope it works for you like it did for me!

Hi there,

Just do all fruit for a few days, it is a simple, easy, cheap and yummy way to cleanse and jump start your raw transformation.

Congrats on discovering raw. It is a beautiful journey!
