this is the recipe for corn chips i want to make
corn from 5 cobs
1 onion
1 green or red bell pepper
1 carrot
and you blend it until you still see vegetable chunks and then spread it on teflex for a day to dry
now my question is since i dont have teflex what else can i use? could i spread it on a plate or baking sheet?

I was just polking around this site so I don't remember where I read it but some people use parchment (spelling?) paper.

I have used parchment paper very successfully. If it is not too wet, possibly wax paper would work, but not 100% sure on the wax paper.

I use waxed paper - on the non- shine side - it works great for me. I used on my Nesco - the walmart one and also on the excalibur - it worked.

The crispy tortilla chips I make hold together very well by adding some ground golden flax, which also absorbs some of the liquid of the veggies. Did yours hold together without breadking ? It seems that there isn't anything to clue them together.
