My bro was sick a week or so back, and about 3 days ago my body decided to pull the sick act too. Right, well, the moment I felt it, I shoulda gone on a fast...but I didn't. I kept on eating, even though it made me feel worse. Two days of that, and I decided that I really didn't want to be laid up for weeks with a blasted cold, so I went on a water fast. Yesterday was the first day, and this morning I woke up and started -literally- coughing up mucus. Gross. Anyways, after I felt that the majority was out, I oil pulled. That made me feel sooo much better. :D Now, yesterday, I read stuff about dry fasting, so, being the daredevil my brother molded me into, I decided to try it, and I haven't felt thirsty all morning, not to mention that I feel far better than yesterday, and I can actually talk! I am now very convinced of the benefits of sleep and fasting.
Anyone had similar experiences?

Yes, I have. I'm on the MC right now and prior I was feeling lethargic and low in energy. My energy has returned and I'm releasing a lot of heavy emotions and gunk from my system. Cleansing/Fasting is wonderful when you're not feeling well. Most animals fast when they're ill, humans included. Glad you're feeling better. Hope you get well soon!

Thanks guys! Day 2 of dry fast and I feel much better. My throat's still a wee bit scratchy, but that's nothing. xD And I dropped about 7 lbs, although that can mostly be accounted to not eating. I'm pretty happy though! Thanks again!
