Your problem is internal which is why external lotions and potions don't work. Are you raw? If so, how long? What's your food program look like?
As the skin is a 3rd kidney AND a 3rd lung, it's alive, it breathes, it takes in and eliminates. Skin dis-eases such as what you are experiencing are signs of an imbalance somewhere in your system.
Are you doing greens on a regular basis? Fruit? What are you eating cooked?

Im sorry to hear that you are in such pain (I know how it feels).
Ok im just brainstorming here, maby some you tried, maby not ?
Cucumbers
Water, lots of water (internal ;-)
Juice, specialy silica rich foods (like cucumber ;-)
Fatty acids: flaxseed oil, hemp oil and olive is surpose to be good. GLA rich oils too (also on the skin).
I have found that onions, garlic, cabage, coliflower a.s.o. agrivates my hand eczema. I know that sulfur is supose to be good for the skin, but not mine.
That said MSM has done a lof of good too (dont know why).
I have found that doing to much for the eczema (puting on creams, oils a.s.o.) somtimes makes it worse. I usaly end up giving up and leaving the skin alone. One, two days later and it heals up LOL ok I dont know the logic in that, but I gues the body is great at healing up itself when we leve it at peace.
If you are "lucky" and dont have your eczema on your hands like me, that has to get into water and other funny stuff all the time (outch). Then it is more easy to give it air and peace.
Try to find out if it is somting that you get into contact with, soap, or somting you eat that agrivate the eczema. Cold weather can do that too. So keep warm and dry is important.
I dont know if you can use any of this, but I do hope you find a solution :)

My son also suffered for a time with eczema and we change a few things at home which resulted in a positive conclusion. Listed below is what we did and I’m not sure which benefited him the most but all contributed.
We stop consuming dairy products.
Removed harsh chemicals from home i.e. detergents.
No deodorants and we became careful using soap especially the liquid types.
Don’t suppress with creams.
Went to a homeopathy.

Do you think vinegar will work on it?

I don't know if your eczema is a long-standing problem or not, but this also sounds very symptomatic of shingles, which is a type of the chicken pox virus. Maybe, maybe not, but if you're truly miserable, you might consider getting it checked.

This is just an opinion but some people believe that eczema is a visible sign of something else, say an allergy you have to a household product and the skin reacts to it this way. Now creams and other potions may clear it but you need to get to the cause otherwise you just suppress it and it goes deeper.

Many great suggestions already, but my son suffered with this for a long time, so I will add my 2 cents. We completely changed his diet and made it very high in alkaline foods. A raw diet would be the best for this since most raw foods are naturally alkaline or have an alkaline effect on the body. However, I do know that most nuts are acidic (except for Almonds- he eats a lot of almonds!), but eat greens and most fruits to your heart's desire. There are some great books about creating an internal acid/alkaline balance-pm me and I can give you a title of a couple great ones.
As far as externally, the only thing I can use on my son is pure peppermint soap from Trader Joes and you may want to check to see about the water in your area. If it is extremely hard, you may want to look into getting a water softener- that helped him tremendously. There is also a lot of chlorine in most water as well which can really make skin problems worse. I have shower filters in all my showers as well that are suppose to filter out much of the chlorine. Lastly, he does really well with pure jojoba oil (also at Trader Joes). I lather that on him after each shower and it has been under control now for over a year.
Hope this helps. Good luck to you!
