Help, young coconut question

I just opened a young coconut that has an off white color, kinda of a pinkish/purplish tent to the flesh. The water looks ok, maybe not as clear as water though. What do you think? Is this normal?

yes - that one is fine. what you want to steer clear of would be any that smell foul and have a grey-ish color to the flesh. enjoy!

It's my last coconut, until I make it to the Asian store to get more, and I was looking forward to using it to make a smoothie this morning.

a pink color is supposed to mean it is starting to go bad. If it still taste/smells ok I still eat it though.
