HI all!
I've been all raw now for 5 weeks, with the exception of my yerba mate, which I'm still enjoying, and I just want to share that in such a SHORT time:
1) a woman stopped me in the grocery store parking lot and said, "I just have to tell you that I watched you walk across the parking lot and your hair is just SO shiny! It looks so pretty catching the sun." Out of nowhere this happens and, no, it was not a come-on. :)
2) A young woman from Bulgaria who I live with and who has limited command of English said to me, " You look, what is the word..."slim."
3) A female acquaintance passed by and did a double-take and said, "Hey, did you lose weight?"
I've gone from a size 10 to a size 8, which I haven't been in about 5 years! MY hair, which was thinning and a bit on the dull side, is getting thicker and shinier all the time-it's like crazy shiny-and the psoriasis condition that I had on the soles of my feet, that was sooooo difficult to get rid of and so stubborn, is GONE. Normal skin now, for the first time in 7 months. and the slight patches that I had in various other places on my body are also gone.
I am so pleased!! :D It is so exciting and also a teeny bit scary...but I LOVE the compliments! Events of the past 9 months REALLY took a toll on my health and I am so deeply grateful to see and feel myself healing! Yay me and yay raw!
