Hey!

I live in Hollywood, CA in an apt. building and was thinking about buying some small fruit or veggie plant to do container gardening in my apt.

Does anyone know the easiest & in terms of very minimal if any upkeep, the best plant to go with for something like this?

Something I can pretty much eat straight off the vine, after washing.

Thanks!

Strawberries can be grown well indoors and Strawberries are delicious! Melons can be grown in an indoor fruit garden but will need room to spread out. And of course as mentioned before.. The Tomato.

Actually, there may be a system where you can grow the tomatoes in a hanging planter and grow strawberries below.. Best of both, eh?

Do you have your own staircase? I did when living on the second floor and got 3 earthboxes. Set them on one step and propped them up two stairs down. Worked GREAT!

Herbs and seed onions grow well indoors.
