I have, and they're good. My last order I got the selection of 8 -- I let them pick. I also got them at the very end of the season not the beginning (now), so they were good and seemed pretty fresh. But I bet now they're even better.

i asked the date people if there was a way i could try them even though i was getting a box of "seconds". they were kind enough to put a basket of the PBs in there. they were really good, but honestly, i didnt think they tasted enough like PB that they would make your desserts taste like PB. but just my opinion.

funny note regarding my order to the date people: im out of the country so my bank statements still go to my parents house. in one of our phone conversations, my dad said "kristen, theres this check on your bank statement written out to the date people...what is that? are you having to PAY for dates?" hahaha. LOL. but he really thought it was a "dating" thing. hehehe... no, in this country i dont pay for dates, i just dont get dates because THERE ARE NO VEGETARIAN OR VEGAN GUYS IN IRELAND!!! as far as ive been able to determine...:mad::mad: (ok sorry, just needed to vent there ;) )

good luck with your dates. pbs are yummy but it wasnt like eating a jar of Jif....

I have tried them. They are tasty, but didn't really taste like peanut butter to me.

Peanut Butter!!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This will take care of your cravings. It contains no peanuts and is realatively inexpensive to make .
Use frozen nuts to prevent this from heating up while it is being blended. It will be slightly warm when you are finished.

Walnuts, frozen
Sunflower Seeds, frozen
Sea Salt
Honey
Kelp powder

Blend the frozen walnuts and frozen sunflower seeds in your vitamix until they are creamy. This should take about 5-8 minutes. Remove the nut butter out and season with honey and salt to taste. Add kelp powder, about 1/2 teaspoon per cup of nut butter. Injoy! Also good with cacao, bananas, or in a spicy thai peanut sauce (just add water, vinegar and cayenne pepper). __________
