She is 14 months and going raw with me, except for when her daddy sneaks her meat. My question is...she has been having BM's several times a day and they dont' stink at all. She is going so much her bottom is raw, she literally went about 8 times yesterday. I guess I need to cut back on the dates I let her have with the cocunut. She is sooo adorable when she is bringing me the fruit and asking "peas" "peas" for please. We have been working hard on her saying please instead of crying when she wants something. Show her fruit and she is begging please. Should I be doing something different so she isn't having so many bm's?
Thanks in advance,
Lisa

I have 15 month old twins. Personally, I would lay off the fruit a bit. Let her body adjust and give her her bottom a break. My kids eat a lot of raw but not all. I still try to watch their consumption of fruit because it's like candy to them and they don't know when to stop.
I'd also suggest bananas since they are binding. Meanwhile, make sure her bottom is covered in whatever it is you use (A&D, ointments, balms, etc.) so it doesn't hurt her.
Good luck

Hi Mommax4,
I have the same problem over here. My sixteen month old has always eaten raw and she goes poo poo quite often. I've never had her go eight times though. I do keep plenty of desiten on hand and use it a lot. She goes three to four times a day which I guess is good. What goes in is suppose to come out! These raw babies are very high maintanance aren't they?

Oh, now I don't feel so alone! :) I finally found desitin creamy and that has been great for her. Thankfully, hers have gone down to about 4 a day. At least we know we have some healthy kids.

Yes they are high maintanance!!! ha, ha, ;) And we wouldn't have it anyother way right!
We went to the beach yesterday. We were there ALL DAY it was so great! But I made about 4 trips to the potty with my 4 year old boy....all for , well....#2. :D
And that was just at the beach. He went more when we got home
Nothing was wrong, very normal movements...just often.
My girls were fine. They did their thing before we left the house.
I always use coconut oil when anyone gets a rash, which we haven't had except for a yeast rash. But yes I also used desiten before I found coconut oil.
