Hi everyone,
I think i may have had a bad hormone inbalance for a few years, i just would like your thoughts and advice on this as i'm not sure what to do what i should eat/should not eat if it will go away on its own or if i should go see someone about it.
I had high testosterone levels as a child (around 7) and was put on estrogen (i also had cameras inside me to have a look for anything more serious), after that i got no more check ups and just told that i may start my periods early. I started them around aged 11, which i dont think is that early, since then I been on/off ill for most my life, i've always had BAD periods, not being able to move the pain is that intense, though i wouldnt say that heavy. When i was around 15 i started getting severe stomach pains and to cut a long story short i ended up having an operation on my stomach to remove my appendix and i also had Meckel's diverticulum so they removed that. Since around that time my energy levels have been zilch almost all the time, iv developed tons of phobias, depression, anxiety, (im recieving therapy at the moment as i cannot leave the house most days) My mood swings are terrible, im angry alot of the time, i cannot think straight because im so tired and feel light headed,my whole body aches most the time, i have rashes on my arms back and chest, iv been to doctors about all of these things several times and they just say that they 'dont know' what it is and give me tons of chemical cremes, tablets. I would rather never go back there again though, i dont want to use toxic medicines etc and i dont trust the whole system. Im almost 20 now.
I know nobody is a doctor etc and i hope this doesnt just sound like a moan. But i still feel like there is something not right and wondered if anyone had any ideas?
Is there a natural doctor somewhere in your area you could find? Are you already raw?
I was taking only one medication (Ritalin) and cut it out cold turkey. Apparently that sort of thing is not recommended. In fact, many people on mind-altering drugs end up committing suicide or doing something dangerous when quitting cold turkey.
But if you can wean yourself off of all drugs, be totally raw, do some cleanses, make some happy events in your life (regular sunshine, healthy friendships, exploring your creativity, etc.)... your body and spirit will have to heal some amount!
I'm sending you hugs and hoping you are already on your way to the happiness you deserve.

Hi Eva,
Im trying to find a natural doctor near me but there doesn't appear to be any, im in the UK.
I've been raw for nearly a year now and i managed to come off all my drugs and use herbal things instead, although it has been on and off, i have eating problems also... but i'm back 100% raw again now and i am very determined this time. I just read a thread on candida? im thinking maybe it could be that also. With the rash being on my arms back and chest i also have alot of stomach pains/gas/bloating/nervous stomach..my stomach rules my life!, but surely a doctor would of suggested candida, i've seen stomach and skin specialists in the past.

Brydee -- I would strongly suggest you contacting Chrisb1 and Mouseclick at the water fasting board on CureZone.com (http://www.curezone.com/forums/f.asp?f=335).
They are both located in the UK and very knowledgeable - one of them might very well be able to direct you to a professional.
Chris had leukemia with a 6 month life expectancy and cured it with water fasting. 25 years later he is a wealth of information on health issues.

So you are already on the track! I've read separately that candida often takes over because our digestive system needs help. It's obviously more complicated, but if you can just manage to get your digestive system in perfect order, then you will get rid of the candida issues.
Have you tried a juice feast??? This will give you tons of vitamins yet give your digestive system a break. And, boy, can I understand your stomach ruling your life. That is why I went raw. I had stomach and digestive issues out the wazoo!
Sometimes issues with the stomach are more tied into emotions and the mind than most would expect. I personally can feel stress in my stomach and have had issues with ulcers in the past as a result. Anyways... you are on your way. You deserve healing! I have to keep saying that! Remember it -- you deserve health. Breathe deeply knowing that if you remind yourself of that as well, and take pressure/control off yet do good things... your body will reward you.

I'm am so sorry that you have so many health challenges at such a young age. I am sending loving and peaceful thoughts your way!
I am glad that you know that raw food works for you. You can heal yourself! You can do this! I highly recommend getting out in nature, in the sunshine, in the forests, in the deserts, in the mountains, wherever, as much as you can. Try to find the beauty all around you, and you will be healed inside and out.

Raine- Do you really think its that serious to do a water fast? i've only been back raw for around a week so im still detoxing still really tired, headaches, dizzy etc, do you think i should wait a while before i do a water fast?
Also, im not very good at not eating, do you think i should start off with a juice fast, iv had a history of binging so i wouldnt want to totally just do water yet, or maybe do a couple of days a week or would this not work? Sorry for all the questions. thanks for the link, i will contact them in the future.
Eva- Yes iv considered it, not tried it yet though, iv only been back raw for a week or so, after a few more weeks i will do it but i have detoxed so many times before and dont want to push my body into extreme detox. Yes mine are mainly emotion tied, i get bad anxiety/panic attacks and this goes to my stomach, so food is sitting in there for along time before i feel ok again and my adrenaline settles down for my digestive system to start again,im also still at the point were i would eat cooked food if i didnt fill myself up with green smoothies, dehydrated snacks, seeds, coconut, avacado anything heavy, i try to not eat to many nuts as i know this plays havoc with my stomach. Thanks for saying that i deserve it...i do! cheers:)
Rawstrength- Thankyou for all the kind words! they mean so much... i didnt list all my ops, i had one when i was two on my thumb!:p lol
