SuzyQ~

I just tried your donut holes and they are so awesome it's not even funny! (And that was BEFORE they made it into the dehydrator!). I can't wait to taste them after, too!

I am serving 9 sheet cakes at a public event tomorrow night & I was wondering how I'm going to do it without licking my fingers or just diving head first into one of the cakes!

NOW, I know how I'll do it! These donuts are going to be my perfect sweet treat for the evening! Oh, who said we must sacrifice? You are a life-saver tonight. THANK YOU for posting! I have been enjoying everyone's posts, as well!

Wow! Your very welcome. What a surprise! It's always fun to recommend something and have someone try it and like it. I also eat some of it out of the bowl and actually, that's why I make a double batch. Otherwise, there would be none for the week. Glad you tried them!

Oh my!! They are in the dehydrator right now. I am liking them more dehydrated than not. But I have been tested at each step of the way. Highly recommend.

When I make these I don't even bother dehydrating them. I just press them into a dish, about 1" high, cover and put it in the fridge. Then I just cut me a square when I want some or cut several squares and put them in a baggy to take with me, when I'm on the go. Rolling and dehydrating does look better but if your trying to keep everything as simple as possible....that's a shortcut I've used. Either way they are delicious.

hi I am looking into getting a dehydrator I think this will be the best way to keep me on with the raw , so I am wondering if anyone with one can tell me what brand they have and if they recommend it? thanks

I got my dehydrator from a thrift store for $10. Buying used is always the best way to go.

I'm going to try these doughnut holes in the morning. I'm drooling for them right now :)

Do you have to use maple syrup? Like, is it necessary to use it for them to turn out okay? Or is it just the sweetener you decided to use? Cuz I would rather use agave if I could.

cool does it have a temp. control? My mother-in-law let me use a round one with no temp. control but man I put a oven thermometer and it read 135 too high right. I think I am going to brake down and get the good4u it cost less then the others that are like it.

I've read that agave doesn't dehydrate so I use Maple Syrup.
