so i purchased one from the thrift store today.
I read that it will take a lot of practice, i used it to slice squash, it did a nice job but not like a wrap.
Interesting:D can't wait to learn how to use it for wraps.

I love it, i wasn't sure i should spend the money but it was only $3.80.
I'm working on making thin chips, i've got a sweet potato last night.
I'll let you know how it turns out.

funny you should bring this up as i was thinking the very same thing last week. i know that jicma is a large root veg that when sliced VERY thin might make a great wrap or maybe a crunchy taco shell when dehydrated.
i was thinking maybe of trying to find a wide mandoline instead of a slicer but maybe the slicer is better.
untill i can sort that out.....cabbage leaves and collards will have to do for wraps.
