I've got a decent Green Power Kempo Juicer. Only about 1 1/2 years old.
I'm curious what juicer you use that works well for you when jucing all kinds of fruits & vegetables. Is there any one juicer that seems to handle it all?
Mine is frustrating many times when it comes to juicing PINEAPPLE, GRAPES, TOMATOES, CUCUMBERS, PEARS, ZUCCHINI, (probably something else too that I'm not thinking of at the moment). I guess more of the softer stuff. With pineapple, it almost jams up and backs up immediately with all the stringiness of it. Does yours? If not, please let me know what you are using.
I must say that mine does very well with greens, carrots, beets (things like that) but I'd like it to handle it all, if that's possible.

i loooove my champion :) it handles the greens as long as i cut them up (or rip them) and push them through with another fruit or veggie.
greenstar is supposed to do greens much better but it's much more expensive.

Yeah, my parents have a Champion that is many years old. I was under the impression that the greens wouldn't be juiced too well by the Champion so we chose the GreenPower.
Sounds like the champion must do very well with Pineapples since, in the juice feasting thread, you mentioned that you juiced 9 (?) pineapples if I remember correctly. I just simply can't get that delicious fruit juiced. I accomplish a little right to begin with and then it's clogged up.
Thanks for your input Aleesha!

I have a Green Star juicer that came with a special pulp knob for soft fruits. I didn't notice any particular problems. I use my wooden pusher to push bits of food down if it gets stuck. Sometimes I notice if I let it run between fruits that it will push out more pulp even though there is nothing being put in. That way it seems to clear itself out.

I just wanted to say that a couple of weeks ago I had the chance to experiment with the Champion juicer and it absolutely floored me. That thing is many years old (at least 20, if I'm guessing right) and we had a watermelon and put that thing through there, rind and all. I couldn't believe how it just ate it up effortlessly. Wow! I'm so impressed. And the juice tasted so smooth. I found out that it's even made in the USA. Now, I gotta have one of those. :D

I love my Green Star Juicer. I am amazed at how much juice it makes and it does green leafy vegetables well. :D

ya my champion does my pineapples no problem... watermelon too. actually the only think i had a problem with recently was some 'dryer than normal' carrots. it overheated my champion and since i was making juice for a friend... i just stopped and said no more LOL
otherwise, it juices everything i put in it no problem.

I've had my champion for about 14 years and I've never had any trouble getting anything to go through it - I LOVE it.
Blessings,
Heather
