3 days ago, I went to a spring in Lisle, NY and bottled my own spring water at the source. Since I've been drinking this water, I've noticed my long-standing acne vanish. Finally, I have clear, smooth, pure, soft, supple and glowing skin! I feel so grateful.
Who would have thought it was simply an issue of water?! I've tried purified water, reverse osmosis water, distilled water and bottled spring water, but nothing gave me the results of this spring water that I'm drinking now. It's wonderful! I hope you can all get to a spring and enjoy nature's gift of abundant water. The most beautiful trees I've ever seen in my life were growing around that spring . . . :D be beautiful.

It's on route 79, between I-81 and Ithaca, NY. Just keep driving along route 79 until you see a little drive way with two white pipes sticking out of a mountain. That's your spring! Believe me, this water tastes good, feels good and makes you look good. It's the best ever!
LOL -- well, you already do lots of wonderful things for your health and therefore your skin! It sounds like this (and maybe the peacefulness of being at the spring??) was a missing link. That's wonderful. :)

Rawstrength -
I'd really love to bottle my own spring water. I've got some questions, though.
Any advice on how to find a spring near me? I'm sure we've got some in the Ozark Mountains nearby, but I googled it, and didn't turn up much....
Are some springs better, cleaner than others?
Do you filter the water after you bottle it?
How do you know the spring water is clean? The only result I found online for a spring near me said it reeks of sulphur.
Where do you get your large bottles?
Do you put them in boiled water beforehand or disinfect them somehow?
How did you get started doing this?
Sorry for so many questions, but I'm really interested in this and would love your input!

I started buying locally bottled and sold Rocky Mountain Indian Peaks Spring water months ago in an attempt to clear up my last hormonal/PMS issues. I had been researching what affects our hormonal health these days for a while and contaminated water is one of them. Think about where all the medications (birth control pills and other hormonal contraceptives) go once they *leave* women's bodies. And there is other stuff like fake estrogens (a lot of chemicals) that end up in the water.
The change in my body and health was amazing in just a few days of drinking this clean water. I gag now when I run out and have to drink "filtered" tap water or bottled water...
I'm so happy for you to finally find solutions to clear and radiant skin :)

Oh, and make sure you bottle your water in glass but I'm sure you know that already:)

If anyone finds a resource listing springs where one may bottle their own water, please post it. I have been Googling for information on a spring near me and can't find any.
I have also been debating if to buy a Reverse Osmosis or regular filter for home. I know Arrowhead isn't the solution. One thing that may help if you don't have access to spring water it to add crystals (quartz or amethyst). The crystals give back the crystaline structure to the water.
Has anyone got Estrogen patches on their face? I have two small ones. Although I don't take birth control pills or hormones. Would a liver cleanse help?
hi rawstrength! i'm with holyguacmole! i'm wondering if there's a site where i can find one in my area? i've done a search but can't find any either. :(
i'm in wheaton, md 20906. :)
i purchased a water distiller a few days ago and am waiting for it! woo. guys. i've been using bottled water. :( oh. i also purchased stainless steel water bottles! they were on sale, & i got 12 (ebay. bulk sale.), although i only need 6. XD
swix -- i read something about your situation on curezone. how long have you been raw? that should help some, and i don't think a liver cleanse would hurt to try out. when did those estrogen patches first appear?
oh and where does everyone get their glass to bottle at such a spring? :o

To find a spring near you, go to http://www.hometownlocator.com/ .
You can get a TDS meter to tell you how much total dissolved solids are in your spring, which, if it is lower than 200, is probably safe water. I don't have a TDS meter, but I only drink from springs that other people drink from and survive.
Of course, there is no way of knowing for sure if the water is free of bacteria. You can ask locals about the spring - springs that people have been drinking from for years are generally safe. Drinking wild waters helps build up your immunity to everything (as does being a raw foodist). A few drops of food-grade hydrogen peroxide in a 5 gallon jug of water will kill most everything. You can also use cayenne pepper and ACV in your water to kill germs, this tastes great with a bit of lemon juice and honey (and is a cleansing, healing beverage).
It is near impossible to find springs using a search engine, because bottled water companies have monopolized everything :( . But you can find a spring, if you're really determined.
As for glass bottles, I try to buy everything bottled in glass (oils, vinegars, kombucha) and I save all the bottles. I'm really into avoiding plastics as much as I can, that's why I love buying my nuts/dried fruit from www.rawfromthefarm.com , because they don't use toxic plastic bags on their food. I found five-gallon glass bottles at an antique store. Homegoods stores sell big glass bottles, too. When I am out of spring water that I bottle myself, I buy spring water bottled in glass and save those glass bottles. I am building up quite a collection.

Oh that is so cool :D I wish I could go and tap my own springwater.
What you all write totaly makes sense. I have been drinking filtered water for years and been happy with it, but lately specialy after I went 100% raw I just dont drink enoug anymore. I really dont feel like drinking the filtered water. I only drink what is absolutely nessesary. So I was thinking and what keep on poping up in my mind is the Islandíc spring water I bought this summer and drank for a week while on holliday (couldent bring my filter). The water, even thoug bottled and store bought, was amasing and I felt great, actualy fantastic. And all im thinking about right now is that water, my body is craving it.
I use to read a lot about water and the energy in water, and I know that "wild" springwater is far better than anthing you can get, but I have kind of ignoring it. But my body is reminding me :)
I have just been watching a series of videos on youtube with Daniel Vitale about water, and is just reminding me of the importance of living water. Ofcause it will bring better health and balance to our body. It totaly makes sense. Thankyou so much for remembering me of lisening to my watercravings. Our body wants what is natural and living; springwater.
Water is inteligent and stores energy, but what most of us are drinking has really little if any energy left, is it totaly flat. Out cells need the energised water to thrive. Logic :D
I wish I could tap water around here, but the springs I know about is all dried out. But I will look around. But I dont think it will be easy to find, specialy one that has not been damage by modern farming (I live in a small country in Europe).

Whoa, that's wacky, there's a spring right smack in the middle of big ol' massively polluted urban Houston. I might go check it out just for kicks and see what's there.
Still trying to find one "nearby" but rural enough that I wouldn't assume it's badly polluted.
Thanks for the link, RS!

concerning storage and glass containers , here in suburban detroit we've a recycling program where everyone puts their plastic/glass/tin containers in recycling baskets seperate from rest of garbage . and i keep on the look out for them big one gallon glass wine bottles and colect them out of the baskets , nice freebies :D or could ask family and friends to save for ya .
next step im gonna make some thin plywood boxes , thin so light , with slats inside to prevent bottles from bouncing into each other in order to avoid cracking .

It's so funny how we bottle alchohol (poison) in glass, but put our life-sustaining water in plastic! So sad :( .
