Hello all,

I bought some Carob powder from Alissa a while back but haven't been using it because I can't get it to disolve. I have been reading all these recipes about raw chocolate and they sound so good, but I can't use it because of undesireable side affects. Any tips on how to use the Carob powder? Thanks!

I just replace it 1 for 1 where a recipe calls for cacao.

How do you get it to disolve? It's pretty grainy. Should I put it in my coffee grinder and make it more powdery?

Mine's already really powdery. When I am using it in a recipe that calls for part cacao butter or coconut oil, it helps it to dissolve because it's warmed liquid at that point.

If yours has a lot of chunks, you could use a wire strainer to push it through, and that will get rid of the chunks.
