there is an abundance of rosehips right now and i would like to preserve some because i know the vit C content is very high. they are good fresh and easy enough to eat the fleshy part and avoid the seeds, but they ARE full of seeds and if i dry them i dont know how to separate the seeds from the flesh for drying. eating them fresh, you just eat the flesh till you hit the seeds then compost the rest, but the flesh layer is very thin and will about disappear if i dehydrate them. whats the best way to preserve these and obtain the vitamins from them during the winter? should i just dry them and then make Teas with them or what?
thanks

Could you cut them and dehydrate them (the whole rosehip) then put them in a vitamix to make you green smoothies during the winter? Just a thought....I've never done it.
what is rosehip good for, what are the benefits?

Whenever I am curious about the benefits of something, I go to Google and type in "health benefits of _____".
Obviously in the blank section I enter what it is I am wanting info on -- coconut oil, green tea, rosehips, etc.

I hear they have an amazing amount of vitamin C among other things.
I would dehydrate them and keep them in an air tight container. You could always rehydrate later.
