New and nervous

Hi all!
I'm new to Raw food although I have considered it many, many times. I guess I just don't know where to start. I have been a "loose vegetarian" for a couple of years. I know what it feels like to eat good and exercise, but I can't get that motivation back.
I have been surfing this website for awhile and decided to join today. The before and afters are absolutely amazing and there is no reason why I can't be one of those, right?
I will probably have a lot of questions, but I know you will all be supportive and helpful. I feel very fortunate to find a great resource and support group.

This is a great site for all sorts of information and has been invaluable to me on my raw journey. Be sure to get Alissa's book and DVD as it is the best.

Welcome! May I suggest to you to change your name to Phingirl?

The reason being, that, once you become a raw foodie person, will will then become a THIN girl, rather then what I think you may be calling yourself. Try to think positive on your new journey and stick to raw. Call yourself by the future tense..and make it happen!!!

Oh, you are so cute. Don't get me wrong, I can stand to lose a few LB's, but Phat is much more than that! Thanks for the warm welcome. I'm really excited and going grocery shopping today for some STUFF!
