of course : )
I have been raw for a month. I actually cut out sugar, salt, bread, meat, dairy and ended up eating everything raw - completely unintentionally. I found your site and am fascinated about this whole idea.
My question/problem is that I have uncontrollably itchy arms and neck. The pores on my arms are huge and when I run - my arms actually sweat (not under, but the forearms). It started about two weeks after I went raw and is still continuing. In addition I have a sulfur allergy and am worried that something I'm eating may be triggering this skin thing.
I typically eat a banana and handful of cashews for breakfast, large salad with avocado and some cashews for lunch/dinner and a few snacks consisting of stawberries, a tablespoon of Almond butter etc during the day. I've been drinking lots of water and am never hungry. My tummy is flatter than I can ever remember and I know I've lost some weight but haven't weighed myself yet. I'm about 5'6'' and 125 so the weight isn't so much the issue, just the actual being healthy, feeling good.
I've been taking b-12 and vit c as well. I've been wondering if I should do a parasite cleanse, or have candida - are those the same?
But this itching is driving me crazy!
any help is appreciated
thanks
Chris

A simple test for candida is as follows.
Have a glass of water by your bedside and spit in to it as soon as you wake up in the morning.
Do not agitate the glass but allow to sit for 10 the 15 mins.
Look at it from the side and if you see thread like things running down from the spit then you have candida.
Candida is a yeast infection and is very common. It is very different to parasites.

thanks, I actually found a website that explained this last night and tested -
no candida. - I don't know if I'm relieved or not - I just wish this itching would stop...:(

Two things come to mind -- both bananas and cashews are possible allergens.

And I had some weird itchy rashes for a while that finally went away. When I would go on a juice feast or something very cleansing, it would get much worse. I believe that was because it was flaring up in the healing process. It could be that.

I'd vote for cleansing/detoxing. You should be happy that you are sweating! What kind of lotions or bath products are you using? I would recommend doing epsom salt baths everyday to help with the detoxing, and a far infared/sauna or hot tub may also help make the process go faster.

When you say cleansing, do you mean the parasite cleansing? I'm pretty new to this
thanks

Cleansing usually means detoxing. Getting as much toxins out of your body as possible.
