I made some almond milk a few days ago and it tasted funky this morning. How long does it usually keep?

How many is a few days? And if it tastes funky, then it is. When in doubt, throw it out. Not worth getting yuck-oh tummy over.

I've read other places that you should use it up in about 4 days. Perhaps someone else has different info.
Also, a tiny amount of salt (good salt, not yucky grocery store type) acts as a preservative and colloidal silver will do the same.

I did throw it out. I think I made it Sunday or Monday. I've been busy so the days are running together.

My mileage:
Almond milk made by Ani Phyo's recipe (1/2 c almonds, 1/2 c dates, pinch salt, dash vanilla, 5 c water) lasts at least a week. This is my smoothie milk.
Almond milk that is just almonds and water (1 c almonds, 4 c water) lasts 3-4 days. This is the proportion I use for soups.

For me it usually last about 4 days. I experienced that funky taste with my last batch, made me sad to throw out my whole smoothie. Always taste before pouring it in ... yuck.

I think it really depends on how cold your refrigeration is.
When we used to live in Detroit, we had a really old fridge that didn't get ver cold at all and I couldn't get almond milk to go past 2 days before it started getting funky.
Then, once we moved and got a new fridge, I've kept it up to about 4-5 days.
Also, I've noticed that keeping it towards the back and tightly sealed in the jar seems to make it stay fresh-tasting longer too.

I use almonds, some honey and a dash of salt.....I use by the third day but prefer it during the first two days...have just adjusted how much I make so I can use within those two days. Freshly made tastes SO much better.

We'll usually keep almond milk for up to five days (tastes as yummy as day one) but it can last a bit longer...
