This info is straight from www.NaturalNews.com today and affects all of us that like our RAW almonds!

After being nearly driven out of business by a crazed USDA, American almond growers have had enough! They've teamed up with the Cornucopia Institute to sue the USDA over its utterly insane "mandatory fumigation policy" which requires raw almonds to be nutritionally destroyed before they can be sold to consumers.

I spoke with Mark Kastel at the Cornucopia Institute today and got the inside story. They're fighting to set a precedent that would prevent the USDA from ever threatening the food supply again!

Oh my, wouldn't that be spectacular if they managed that! D&S Ranches -- that's the www.almonds-from-california.com people! Their almonds are so tasty. I got some from them *unpasteurized even after this nonsense started. I don't know if they are still not pasteurizing, though.
