Hey,
I have a dumb question. I know you are to eat melon alone. So does that mean you have to eat it and like wait oh, like 20 minutes to eat something else. Or can you eat it first and then eat other fruits and veggies??

If you eat melon first, you should wait about 30 minutes before eating something else.

Me, too. I alway have melon on an empty stomach and nothing after to 30 minutes. Melon doesn't require much digestion. It passes right through the stomach. If you eat veges or nuts with it, the melon stays in your stomach with the other food.
Doesn't bother some. Others, they think melon doesn't "agree" with them because they keep burping it up. That's the melon starting to ferment.

Eat 30 mints before having other food.Melons are such a perfect food for humans that they require no digestion whatsoever in the stomach. Instead, they pass quickly through the stomach and move into the small intestine for digestion and assimilation. But this can happen only when the stomach is empty and melons are eaten alone, or in combination only with other fresh raw fruits. When consumed with or after other foods that require complex digestion in the stomach, melons cannot pass into the small intestine until the digestion of other foods in the stomach is complete. So they sit and stagnate instead, quickly fermenting and causing all sorts of gastric distress."
