I really need some ideas on what to do with them.
I've sliced them and put them in salads and smoothies but is there anything else i can use them for?

I like to save Recipes but I seldom use them because I like to use most Foods in their Natural State. So I would eat the Fresh ones as fast as I could and save the dried ones to use in Recipes and as Sweetners.

You can also dry the Fresh ones yourself and use them later. In Joy your Figs, I have mine. I go out everyday, pick and eat right from the Tree.

Oh, so jealous that you get them right from your tree. I am halfway through my second package of fresh figs from Costco. There are 16 per container and they are sooooo devine.

Have not really ever used dried figs for sweetener, but sounds good. Usually use dates since I always have them on hand.

Hey Bethanie!
I've just discovered both raw and dried figs not too long ago, and saw this recipe on goneraw.com that I've been meaning to try. If you give it a go, let me know how you liked it!

Raw Almond Butter Stuffed Chocolate Figs

These can be purchased at rawguru.com. But if you want to make alot of them, here’s my best idea of how they make them.
Ingredients

* raw figs
* raw almond butter
* 1 cup raw cocoa butter, liquefied in dehydrator for 4 hours
* ¼ cup raw cocoa powder
* ¼ cup raw agave nectar

Preparation

First, pit the figs, and hollow them out a bit. Stuff the inside with almond butter, and make the chocolate coating. Blend the liquefied cocoa butter, cocoa powder, and agave till creamy smooth. Drench and mix the stuffed figs in the liquid chocolate, trying as quickly as possible because the cocoa butter will harden quickly. Freeze the figs for a few minutes, and voila!

*my own note: you could probably substitute coconut butter for the cacao butter if you don't have the latter....it may change the consistency a bit, but not too much I would imagine!
