Can I substitute for Nama Shoyu instead or Tamari?
I'm still so new to this rawness journey, so please ignore my ignorance.
What does Bragg Liquid Aminos act as in a recipe?

It gives your food a salty taste, but it's not raw. I use it anyway in a few things.

I use it because my dc have a gluten allergy. :)
ETA: Nama Shoyu isn't raw-is it?

As I understand it, it is.

For nama shoyu, the soybeans are cooked, then fermented. Then the product is bottled. It has been cooked, but only once. Conventional soy sauces are cooked, fermented, then cooked again.
So I suppose you could say that nama shoyu is a living food, but not a raw food, much like kombucha.
