Hey all-
I have been using my omega juice and love it. I have only been using the juicing attachments, I cant find my instructions, they are around here somewhere... I got it awhile ago, and just started juicing, But what else can you do with it? Can you grind nuts? Flax seeds? I want to know that specifically because I dont have a food processor so I was wondering if that was do-able?
Thanks much!@

I was going to reply to your post, but couldn't find my book either. I've only had my juicer for a couple of weeks and love it as well. Now I found my book. It says the blank cone can be used with any of the six nozzles. Oval nozzle: mioncing and chopping vegetables; making nut butters; homogenizing frozen fruit, milk or yogurt; extruding breadsticks. Round nozzle - same as oval. Four remaining nozzles: extrusion of various sized pastas. It also says with the round or oval nozzle you can grind coffee beans.
Basically, what that tells me is that I can, for example, process my soaked sunflower seeds or my sprouted grains before using them in a recipe. Cool. See you helped me out. I normally don't read instruction booklets, so never know just how many things I can do with my equipment.:D

Emma's right, you can do everything with a Green Star.

Well, you can do pretty much anything with the Omega juicer as well. Today I put the other cone thingy in with the oval nozzle and turned 45.5 lbs. of fruit into mush, which I put into zip-loc bags and froze for smoothies in the dead of winter. Worked great!:D

Has anyone tried nut butter with it? I'm wondering how the texture is.

Thank you for the info! I think the hardest of this change has been finding a juicer that isn't too pricey. I should be receiving the Omega 8005 Juicer to-day... Looks like I made the right choice! So excited!
Thank you all! :D
