I have and highly recommend the Cuisinart MP-14 because:
-It has a 20 year warranty on the motor, I don't think you can beat that
-It's a huge 14 cup processor with a nice design, I don't like those "boxy" ones
-It comes with a whip attachment although this is rarely used in raw food
-You can get a "2x2 julienne" blade/disc that essentially makes spaghetti noodles out of zucchini so you'll never need a spiralizer

I have the Hamilton Beach Big Mouth. I have had it for about 3 years now andd it has worked well for me. I like it because I use it mainly for chopping, slicing and shredding vegetables. But I have also used it a few times for making raw desserts.

The Cuisinart MP-14 I recommended is also a super wide mouth model. I would trust Cuisinart over Hamilton Beach, and I doubt Hamilton Beach has a 20 year warranty or nowhere near as many optional accessories like a spaghetti disc, ultra thin slicing disc for chips, french fry disc, etc.

You're right. It doesn't have those things. But I also don't want or need those things. It's cheap and I wanted cheap.

I also have the Hamilton Beach and am happy with it. It was what I could afford and it's worked fine for what I need it for. Whatever you get, make sure you use it and don't let it sit in the cupboard!:D

Hello,
It is really what you want to spend-more for a high quality cuisinart or less expensive for a Hamilton Beach or what I have Black and Decker that I use a lot and works fine, but when it dies I will go for the cuisinart. I think either way it can work for you.

I have had my cuisinart for 15 years of heavy use and it still works wonderfully.=)

The only thing is with the big mouth, it's hard to clean under the top part and along the springs. Howevevr, I've used mine practically everyday for 5 years and it still works wonderfully. At $35.00, it was all I could afford!! I'm sure the more expensive brands have all the bells and whistles, but I didn't need those then, but now they sound impressive!! I may look into the Cuisinart further. Where did you get yours from?:)

Cuisinart 11 Cup. Costco is my place of great findings but keep receipt if problem ever. They are great to deal with. May search here as I remember this topic before as well as now.

I also have the Hamilton Beach Big-Mouth and LOVE IT. It was about $80 a couple of years ago when I bought it! I always heard about the Cuisinart but didn't want to spend that much money on a food processor. Especially knowing I would probably never use most of the extras.

I agree. I've had the Hamilton Beach big mouth and twice the top broke and food got gunked in the top and could not be cleaned out.
I was so glad I opted for the Cuisinart this time. It's smoother, way easier to clean and is a much higher quality product than the HB big mouth.

I agree. Next time, I'm buying a Cuisinart, totally.
