Did 20/20 ever botch this. Check out the exact text from the feedback left on the ABC site (http://abcnews.go.com/Health/Stossel/comments?type=story&id=5735592#commentBox):

Hey - this is Charlotte from the show. I just wanted to tell everyone thank you for your support and comments! I also wanted to clarify that I never did the raw foods lifestyle. I just got obsessed with "healthy eating" in general. For all of you who said this disorder is more akin to OCD, I agree. It was a blend of anorexia and OCD but the treatment that worked the best for me was CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) and ERP (exposure response therapy) - treatments typically used for OCD. I am doing much better now! If anyone is interested in more of my experience with orthorexia, feel free to contact me through my website http://thegreatfitnessexperiment.blogspot.comTo Johnny and Kate's family: you have no idea how much hearing your stories strengthened me and my heart goes out to you!

Thank you so much Charlotte. Your story of recovery is very inspiring to me as I continue to work on mine. I am going to check out your website as I wanted to figure out a way to reach you. I will also take the liberty to post mine here: Http://www.FindDesireNotDemise.com - I have published a long document which is my entire story of Orthorexia Nervosa and what I feel better depicts the insanity of this disease. Orthorexia does not start on the plate but in the mind. I feel ABC did a poor job at showing people this and most who are uneducated on this topic seem to assume that orthorexia is based on a dietary lifestyle rather than an unstable mindset due to obsessive compulsive and phobic disorders and the potential of other eating disorders. I have used RAW foods in my healing process for nutritional stability and weight GAIN. It has helped me not harmed me. I work with a team of doctors who have validated my dietary lifestyle as part of my recovery and support it because it serves me balance. Food choices only become part of orthorexia when an unhealthy and extreme mentality is present and given power to and when the food choices become restrictive and imbalanced for the individual. EveryBODY is different and has different needs. Any dietary lifestyle, raw or not, could be considered unhealthy and it's all based on an individual basis, not a community of people who follow a specific dietary lifestyle. I really feel this gave the raw food lifestyle a bad name, especially since so many people have used it in their healing processes.
