I have noticed that some people are putting nuts in their smoothies. Do you do this?

Sometimes. I will often do it for my children in the morning, if I don't add nuts they are hungry in an hour. Also, if I'm making a decadent smoothie like cashew milk/banana/cacao - it's a definite YES! But for MY morning GS mostly NO, but every once in awhile I do. Real specific answer - huh!

Yes to make them a bit thicker...and creamier. I also put 1/2 an avocado in for this same reason. ;)

I don't put them in my GS because the mixture will make me gassy and give me a liitle indigestion. If it doesn't bother you, enjoy away!
I do make shakes with frozen banans, dates, carob, and almond milk. I take an enzyme with these.

I generally don't add nuts to smoothies. I think it interferes with me digesting the greens and reaping the benefits of sustained energy, etc.

Occasionally. I'll add them to the fluid to create a mylk, then add the rest of the ingredients.

I use nuts or nut mylk in dessert type smoothies, but not in green smoothies. Might try that! I do like to add 1-2 T. hemp seeds to green smoothies. Especially if I have a busy day ahead and/or need to stretch out the time before my next meal.

I do; however, I have a Vita-Mix that blends them into mylk and makes everything very creamy smooth. You need a Vita-Mix or other heavy duty blender.
