does anyone make almond milk and then just leave the almond pulp in the smoothie?
i love making a smoothie and then having the crunchy bits of almond pulp mixed with the smoothie. i usually make my almond milk fresh everyday.
i guess if you made almond milk in a vita mix the pulp might be blended right into the milk.

has anyone done that? i was thinking i might try that when i get my vita mix.

I think most use pulp for other raw food purposes: cookies, burgers and such. i got super sick on just almond milk. How much do you drink? I think it was about 12 ounces or such, but still I had quite a quick detox I wrote about recently in thread. i got well almost immediately but still not a great memory maybe never trying again. The milk was super rich, but maybe too rich for my body.

Most strain pulp with a special cloth bag. Many websites sell or even Home Depot has something in their paint area. I can't help with the sites or Home Depot, but others can.

When I make a smoothie I leave the pulp in, I use a Vita Mix and the pulp is unnoticeable in the smoothie. I typically start with some ice in the water so that it doesn't heat up too much (I count to 100 as I blend). When I am drinking a glass of almond milk I strain it.

Heather

i could drink almond milk till it was comming out of my ears LOL. i have no problem with rich things. my body LOVES fats.
but actually when i am making almond milk i dont make it that rich....just because of the cost of almonds. i love the pulp in a smoothie but i see that
Miah Tay has said that the pulp disappears when she makes it in the vita mix.
thats what i wanted to know....because i am getting one in a few weeks.

if you cant drink much almond milk then maybe you are right that its too rich for your system. we are all different. i just dont have any food sensativities like to grains, nuts and cacao and stuff like some folks.

my problem that is on raw i REALLY need to eat alot of food. i still lose weight but i have to stay raw to do it.

thanks for your input.
