In dehyrator are my burgers for tonights rawluck. I tasted the "batter' and it's fabulous without even going into dehydrator:
Yum Yum Carol's Burgers-carolg
carrots
zucchini
few walnuts
flax seed (ground up into meal)
pinch water
pinch salt
think corinader (as not sure of smell)
sliver fresh garlic
sliver fresh onion
yellow beet
Put all into FP and go for it.
Note: I don't have exact quantities as I throw together always.
Patiently waiting for them to dehydrate through or go off to rawluck as is. I may bring my homemade pickles along sliced up as a side dish for this dish. May even slice some tomatoes.
I'll keep you posted. I used what I had in refrigerator and surely you can add celery and parsley or even cilantro. Let your imagination go wild and go for it.
I was hesistant to use walnuts as I am trying to think more low cal and less carbs(but carrots have carbs). Maybe next time I will leave out walnuts as I don't thinkk they are truly necessary. I suppose for those having almonds or pulp, you can also add these and remove walnuts here. Or you just forget all about nuts too.
Stay tuned.
Now off to pick those peaches/plums been telling you about that I never got to yet, nor to gym so before rawluck it's going to a full power house blast of my own cardio at gym plus weight training.
UPDATE AFTER POTLUCK:
Burgers were loved with tons of compliments! My Boutenko pickles were loved. Search here for the recipe I posted. My farmer's market guys love my pickles and even had a young worker special order and pay for my pickles. Going to bring him some next week I told him. Now got 3 gallons of pickles making and thought I was finished with pickles. Really into "kraut" these days.
