What next? Smoking keeps you thin, beautiful and looking oh so chic?

UGH!

Well, what would you expect from the Corn Refiners Association? I know oncologists who tell you that chemotherapy is good for you.

This is just simply more validating information that you absolutely must educate yourself and follow the beat of your own drummer when it comes to your health. Thank God I'm Raw!

Back to nature, that's the best way. The frustrating thing is you can't tell people...

You can't tell people what?

I fail to see how HFCS is good for you. I don't think I've ever eaten anything with this substance that didn't later make my stomach lurch.

I find that the minute I say "raw", people are momentarily surprised, then interrupt and say "Oh, I could never do that..." When I say "You can't tell people..." I mean we find out these wonderful things we can do for our health, and you see people doing things that are so detrimental to them- it does no good to tell them. They just keep on doing what they are doing. It's frustrating, so I don't particularly try to tell people. That's what I mean.

If I had a dime for every person that said that to me I'd open up a raw restaurant!

this commercial is all over tv! they mention that website in it, so i had to check it out - i was shocked!! just when people were starting to realize that this stuff is bad for you, they are trying to make it seem like it's no big deal - because it's "made out of corn" (as the commercial says).

Yes, high fructose corn syrup is made out of corn.
And heroin is made out of poppy seeds.
And cocaine is made out of coca leaves.
And cyanide can be extracted from almonds, mangoes and apple seeds.

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one that gets upset by these commercials! The Corn industry cannot handle that people are waking up and beginning to realize the truth!

Someone just sent me the commercials via email:eek:. I had to run over here and see if anyone else saw them and was equally as annoyed as I was. Are these appearing often on TV and on major networks? I don't have cable so I haven't seen them on TV.

I finally saw the commercial on tv. Did I hear that right..."it's like sugar, it's good for you (decrease volume), in moderation." Very sneaky, and totally ridiculous.

They have a product to sell, they are not concerned about public health. HFCS is refined garbage. There is no better way to put it.

It's also from GM corn which is GM'ed to create it's own pesticides as it grows.
