I'm just not having the greatest day today. Woke up with a nasty headache, so got ready for work late. When I made my lunch I forgot to put in my avocado and salad dressing. I usually keep an extra lemon in the office for emergencies, but I used it up yesterday. I also ate the last of my office supply of flax crackers. So now I am feeling like my lunch really is lacking and boring. It sucks! (can I say that here).
My only hope is that I will like my Go Raw bar. So far I haven't liked any of the ones I tried, but the others had coconut in them and I'm not a big fan of coconut.
Work is not going great either. The boss was irritated that I was late (he never calls or comes in early, but today he called me at the office). I have a huge project to finish, so I can't go home even though I feel crummy.
Co-worker just went to get lunch and asked if I wanted anything, what a temptation on a day like today. I didn't go for it. I am still raw!!!.

I had headaches at the beginning, too.
Unfortunately, none of us can control how our bosses and coworkers are or our workloads... but how we treat our bodies can become a daily personal sense of pride.
If i don't have any food I make a 15 minute stop at the local grocery store and get bananas. I do that when travelling, too. You can find bananas (or apples or whatever) anywhere. I use lime as a dressing on my salad and the grocery should have that, too.

Oh - hang in there. It's all part of the detoxing system. You'll go through feelings like this. Just keep on keeping on - RAW and you'll be cool, calm, and collected in no time! Really!

It's detox and surely things will get better. You are the only one who can do it, but behind you are great cheerleaders here. Keep up the great work and post away. We want to see you successful in your journey that you measure.

I'm there with ya. I'm meeting my deadlines -- always do -- but the work that was done while I was on vacation for two weeks was full of mistakes. Now I'm cleaning the mess, and the boss has been flipping out that approx. 500,000 brochures that should have already been printed have not even been proofed and are full of major issues (these are the ones someone did in my absence).
He's taking it out on me instead of thanking me for my hard work and eagle eye.
I have been working for 16 hours today, and he just had the audacity to fuss because I had intended to go to yoga in the evening.
The nerve!
I am taking a deep breath, drinking lots of water, and going to head of to bed now that it's after midnight. Tomorrow will be a new and sunshiny day, for sure.
I hope your day got better, and tomorrow will certainly be better than today! :)
LOL, and he just called even though it's 1 am here! I think he missed the memo about me moving to a place 7 time zones ahead.
Rats, you wanted encouragement, huh?
Tomorrow!

My gosh Eva. The boss is clueless and he has to realize somethings things happen beyond one's control, but why wasn't he staying on top of the brochure issue and not assuming anything. I suppose he can blame it on the printers while he is correcting errors.
Stay cool. I hope you got to yoga and got some peace of "mind."
You are still working for him being so many time zones away? Is it a large corp? Doing marketing there or ?
Girlfriend, I hope the rest of your day proves to be great.
Amazing that you are on vacation and you didn't dream of work every moment of the day. Glad vacation time happened.
Give yourself a big hug from us here.

Thank you all for your support. Started to feel better after lunch and I actually liked my Go Raw bar (apricot).
Best of all I got the project done!!! (four financial statements) :D
I'm just about ready to leave work and its only 5:15.
Best of all, my avocado is waiting for me at home. I guess It wasn't all that bad that I forgot it. I now if it to look forward to.
Drinking lots of water too!!!

I was just pointed to this because of this lame-o raw cult website. LOL. I didn't see your questions. Yes, still working for a co. in TX even though I'm in Hungary. I'm the Director of Marketing & Development. It's not a huge corp, we are involved in education. I got over the hump.
I keep a lot together, so I guess it wasn't so surprising that there was a huge amount of work when I got back. Back to normal weeks now, though. :) I have been going to lots of (hot/Bikram) yoga too, loving the way my muscles are looking these days and the increased flexibility. :)
Annavon, how's it for you? I hope all is well. :)
