Hello Rawsters!
I am trying raw again after 3 years. I just can seem to get it right on SAD, so here I am jumping in again.
I do realize that I can no longer be a lurker I need to actually have some accountability and support to make it work.
I have been 100% for 3 days now and feeling pretty good.
Look forward to getting to know you all along my journey!

btw... wanting tuna... ???
Tropigal from RFT posted this online last year.
it totally RAWks! I was shocked at how much this tastes like tuna!! I love it!
Oh -- and also – instead of one bubbies pickle – I added the bubbies dill (or kosher??) relish style -
here's her recipe and her comments -- enjoy!!
Foonie - Tuna Salad
by Tropigal (RFT)
Soak 1-Cup Almonds overnight.
rinse, drain & pulse in food processor till fine.
then add to processor~
1 large or 2 small stalks of celery
1-2 green onions (depending on size/taste)
approx 1/4 cup italian parsley (not chopped)
1T + an extra splash of lemon juice
dash cayenne/fresh black pepper
1/2-3/4 t. salt
1/2 t. garlic granules
approx 1/3 cup dulse(NOT flakes...the dried whole kind)
1/8-1/4 cup water.
ADD THE WATER A LITTLE AT A TIME to your desired consistency.
Pulse until all is combined and chopped well scraping from bottom 1 or 2 times.
i don't use fresh garlic because it becomes overpowering and strong.
I also add to the recipe...for my own tastes~
1/2 t dried mustard
one small bubbies pickle

StarFire, you are rawsome!!
Today wasn't too bad, I was still craving tuna and popcorn...but, I made a big smoothie (carrots, apple, ginger, mango, papaya, and strawberry) and drank myself into a coma. (to sleep) LOL :D
DH ran out and got salads and having some herbal tea as I type.
I was just thinking all day today...why do I feel like I'm punishing myself????
I printed the mock tuna recipe and we will see what happens. I have made this week some dehydrated ritz crackers I found on this site, some swiss cheese from Alissa's book and mock salmon. I have to say that the dehydrated crackers were the best. I am a pretty picky eater and the nuts in the recipes aren't doing it for me right now..the recipes tastes like NUTS no fooling my tastes buds yet!! LOL
Thanks again!
P.S. I got married on the Big Island 3 years ago! (beautiful island, lucky you) The pic on my aviator is the sunset from one of my wedding pics.
