Does anyone here know of any way to heal and or just help alleviate the pain from Carpal tunnel besides raw food and hydrotherapy and Arnica oil? Any help would be greatly appreciated :). Have a beautiful day everyone.

Carpal tunnel actually starts up in the shoulder/neck region which is why surgery never "works" for long.

I know someone who healed hers by riding a horse, another did it by playing music (not a musician)... yoga, qigong, Indian club swinging... anything that get the energy flowing through the muscles, joints and connective tissue.

Wheatgrass juice either. Never had pain when I was doing 2 oz. wheatgrass daily.

Get a Cats Paw.

http://www.catspaw.com/orders.php

I got mine at the drugstore many years ago and it's still in good shape. Of course once I got rid of what caused the problem to begin with, the pain went away.

When it was at its worst, I was working in retail and using an RMU (remote maintenance unit). You may have seen people with these hand held scanners in various stores. The buttons on them are very tiny and the scanners are fairly heavy. My hand remained in the same position while using it. I got to where I could use my left hand to take some strain off of my right hand. I also used the computer and a 10 key all day long.

Quitting that job took the strain off of my arm.

A few years later, I got a job at a golf course. When my boss discovered how quickly I could do 10 key, he had me punch in all the inventory tickets. And bingo! The pain came back.

I started sleeping with a loose fitting brace on because I would hurt so bad in the morning and the brace really stopped the pain that sleeping in funky positions would cause. I also used a sturdy brace during the day. I then got a TENS unit that sends electrical currents. You can adjust the level so that it will be comfortable. I actually can't stand pain at all but I tolerated the TENS pretty well. You could probably search on yahoo for TENS and get more information about it. I bought mine from a chiropractor for 60.00

Carpal tunnel is worse with inflammation. so anything that is an anti-inflammatory food/supplement and helps to reduce inflamation.

- flax seed oil
- walnuts
- pumpkin seeds
- olive oil
- hemp seeds
- dark leafy greens
- blueberries (& other berries)
- fresh fruits & veggies

I've heard that nightshade foods can increase inflammation.

I hope this helps,
Bri.

I'm not sure about the nightshade family. We have Belladonna in the pharmacy and I asked my pharmacist what it is used for and he said that it's used for an anti inflammatory.
