I almost died last night accidentally ingesting some nut oil at a restaurant (throat and chest closed, couldn't breathe, vomited, had to be sent to the hospital, get shot with epinephrine, etc.) . Part of me feels guilty because I was eating cooked food (a tofu/veg stir fry), and if I prepared the food at home myself I'd have nothing to be worried about. This would probably include raw vegan restaurants too because they are so liberal with nuts and nut pastes.
I hear people talking about how RAW healed their allergies? If I went 100% raw, how likely do you think it would be I could eat nuts again? Like how long would it take?

My almond allergy only got worse as time went on.

:(
So no one or no one knows of anyone that's healed their anaphylaxis through RAW?

The physiology of allergies is such that the reactions get worse with each exposure, therefore, I wouldn't recommend ever trying nuts again, especially since your reaction is so severe.

OK, so for how likely it would be for you to safely eat nuts again after being raw I would say extremely UNLIKELY. Yes, I believe it's possible to heal anything but I don't think it's worth the risk to your health to try nuts again. Just enjoy being raw.

I wouldn't reccomend risking it. I've heard of many things being healed through raw, but not once has anyone mentioned their food allergies being overcome...'m sorry.
