I actually don't like them at all right out of the bag and was wondering what all the fuss was about. I tried mixing them in some things to make like a trail mix sort of thing and I still didn't like them. I put them in my smoothies, dry right out of the bag and I still didn't like them. I was disappointed because I know that they are extremely good for you. Then I decided to try soaking them and then putting them in my smoothies and guess what? It was great, I can't really taste them in there! So, now I can at lease get the benefits of them.
It's weird, but I bought them last year, tried them and they sat in my fridge until I just threw them out not too long ago. I even tried cocao/agave/gogi berries together and I thought it tasted like crap. But soaked, they're good and I'm even dumping the soak water in as well.

I don't particularly like them right out of the bag either. But I'll 2nd that they add a great taste to a smoothie.
I occasionally eat them out of the bag with an equal amount of raw cashews (a small handful for a quick snack).
BTW, what brand of Goji Berries does everyone else use?
My local store carries the Heaven Mountain Goji Berries (http://heavenmountaingoji.com/).
