These days, I feel so unsure of everything. Does anyone ever stress over whether or not the nuts that they are eating are really raw? do you stress over whether or not spices you are using are really raw? ... I have this fear that if I get into all of these crazy recipe's with all these different supposedly "raw" ingredients I will go crazy wondering if everything is actually raw!

NOPE. I do the best I can and refine as I go. I know that what I am doing is WAY, WAY, WAY healthier than how I WAS eating. Stress can be very damaging.

Nope, no stress here either. I am eating way healthier - obviously, I've healed/cured myself. Why put that into my psychic being? Stress - it does a body bad... :(

I can really say I do not have any stress in my life. I choose for it to be that way.

yes i know what you mean about buying raw things. i have always stressed about it and have gone to great lengths to find out about indgredients.
but i have made peace with the idea that i have done the best i can and only buy from people i feel i can trust.

some things you just cant know for sure. nothing wrong with making good food from any recipies as long as you trust who you buy your indgredients from. if you know they are ok then the food is ok.
i dont stress too much about things like raw spices. for me personally... thats just going too far.

find people you can trust like alissa....and buy from them. you'll be fine.

I do the best I can, and nothing is perfect.

One thing I know, is this way of eating is way better than any other way.

I buy organic spices and vanilla and that is about as far as I go with those. Vanilla and dill are really the only two I use.

The nut question bothers me some as I buy these at WF. They put a notice on the raw almonds in the bulk bins that some may feel they are not raw becasue of the (blanching?) they are doing now.

I question spending double on raw organic almond butter if organic almond butter is the same product. Does anyone know if there is a quality difference if the raw is not quite raw?

Honey, PLEASE don't make this thing into a religion or a compulsion for yourself. As it has been said, do the best that you can and do not stress or worry over what you cannot control. The only way to be sure is to grow your own food and ONLY eat what you've grown. But if you want to not be that "limited" as to what you eat, then try not to stress...stress is actually toxic and could possibly be more detrimental to you than any tiny bit of "not-truly-raw" ingredient you could consume!

Even the very air we breathe is not perfect and pure but you're not trying to live in a bubble...so again, do your best and trust that the small amounts of things you may ingest that are not "totally purely raw" your body will make allowances for if for no other reason than the fact that you are consuming the majority of your diet raw and living foods!

Thank you everyone, I think that I am most worried because I have been raw for about 3 months and have not felt any effects. wondering if im eating too many things that I think are raw but are not!

Silly to rush it anyway!
