" It can be good for weightless if you stay away from the fats, they like to load on the nuts / spreads, etc, so you're eating fat (nuts/oil) and sugar (fruits) since raw veggies don't have many calories. We were designed to eat starches (rice/beans/potatos/grains) and raw has zip. However, its can be really inventive and fun!"

So.. what does everyone think of "we are designed to eat starches"? Btw.. I didn't reply to the post..

Stupid......? We are the only animal in the animal kingdom designed to eat cooked starches? Did this writer talk directly to the Designer Himself? :p And the next person says, "We were designed to eat mostly meat." And the winner is.......the raw vegan!!!

Um... Who cares what was said on another forum? I don't. I also say there is no one diet that works for all. I really believe that.

I don't know about anyone else, but I know my body is definately not designed to eat potatoes, beans, rice and grains as they give me extraordinary digestive problems. I no longer consider them food. So that would be a big gassy no for me. :D

Oh I don't really 'care' per se.. Just thought it would be interesting to see what others here would reply to that post...

Also interesting to me incase someone brings the same topics up to me personally. Remember.. I am very new at raw.
