Lychees-Fruit of the Gods!

My new FAV-OR-ITE fruit. I shared them with my FIL who remembered eating them in Vietnam when he was stationed there 40 years ago. We shared about 20-30 of them together. I love them. Thankfully no one else in the house does! LOL!

anyone have any lychee recipes to share?

EEeeewwwww! They taste like slimey little eyeballs! (Not that I know what eyeballs taste like-LOL!) I bought some several years back thinking I had found a little treasure and NONE of us liked them :( . I'm glad you found something new you like, isn't that FUN?!?

a friend used to make lichee martinis, so i'm sure you could make some juicey thingy out of them (sans alcohol). i also put anything in a smoothie once....lycheee...........yummmy!!! and the texture can't be worse than soaked flax seeds, which i use in smoothies daily
