Those steel ones look kind of skinny...how do they compare to say McD's straws in width?

I love my glass straw! Highly recommend! I haven't tried the stainless steel ones. Cool!

I thought they were going to be skinny too, but they work perfectly with my very dense green smoothies, plus i get to use it as a spoon too if I want,
perfect combo !

I think I will go with the steel ones-I've been wanting to get the glass ones, but with children, well, frankly, it made me envision many ER visits in the future :p

I order a set of three glass straws.
I'm down to one now.
seems they break easily if you are not very careful.
the stainless steel ones would be good for the clumsy!!!

those stainless straws are pretty cool but i have a hard enough time knowing for sure that the glass ones are clean, n/m one i can't see through at all!

my little boy has had a glass straw since he was 4 and no problems. it's made of pyrex which is very strong, it's only when you hit them hard on something or drop one in the sink that they seem to break. I broke his just that way actually. it had his name on it in blue glass letters too, he'll never forgive me :(

that's what I wanted to do. I thought maybe I could get their names inscribed on the steel ones....?

well, i dated a glass artist so...
but you could probably order them from any glass studio for as much or less than anywhere else. look up a local shop or contact Our-Glass in nelson BC (that's the only place i know of personally).
