of course raw changes our weight, our basic physical health, skin, etc, but what psychological differences do you experience? i know when im raw i feel so alive. i feel really calm and at piece. my intellectual curiosity is at its height. all i want to do is read and write and figure things out. i want to meditate and do yoga and its wonderful. its like a natural high, a feeling of extreme clarity. the world around me is amplified, i notice all details. its wonderful.

I am a fan of the author Daniel Quinn and his work in "Ishmael" "Story of B" & "My Ishmael" which cover pretty extensively food/food productions role in our culture/society. So I have been thinking of food differently for some time now. Going raw has helped confirm my beliefs.

I strongly recommend those books to anyone interested. They are written as fiction stories so they are entertaining to read yet get a lot of great info across to the reader. After reading "Story of B" I literally felt like I was looking at the world through different eyes.

I agree with your perception. Raw & fasting makes me feel grounded and nothing really gets to me to cause me stress. I feel a stronger spiritual bond as well.
