i bought figs for the first time today. ive never before had them in their raw form, only dried, & im trying to steer clear of dried fruits for the time being.
anyway, im really happy with them. they're excellent. what experience have you had with figs? what do they do to our bodies? or what have they done to/for your body?

FIGS!!! figs are one of my favorite foods ever, i don't really care what they do for me i just love them so much! i did read once that figs were one of the best "anti mucous" foods and that the seeds scrape out mucous or something. i dont really remember, they were supposed to be really good for you though.

I adore the taste of raw figs.
Though I'm not a guy, the following is amusing:
Figs are full of seeds and hang in twos when they grow. Figs increase the motility of male sperm and increase the numbers of sperm as well to overcome male sterility.

Figs are yummy, I actually only like them in there fresh state. I'm not a fan of dried or preserved figs.

I agree with Rande...........I don't care what they do.....I just like them. They are full of Fiber. Mine are in now, I have a Drawft Tree and I just go out every morning, see if some critter had a late night snack and pick me as many as I can that are soft to the touch.........rinse them off and they are gone in a few seconds.

Figs are high in calcium and fiber. They are also anti-parasitic. They clean out your insides, like little brooms.
They are delicious . . . one of my favorite foods!
