Can we eat lima beans, peas and green beans as a raw foodist?? How do we eat them if we can.. Would I need to soak them or marinate them ??

I'm curious if sprouted seeds produce any kind of poison substance to inhibit critters in the ground from eating them before they develop an above ground shoot? :confused:
I find if my grain's roots are a little too long they burn my throat and are unpleasant to eat.

Is it possible to find this out?
