View Full Version : Carob and agave, food combining

What is carob?? Is it a fruit?? Is it a vegetable. It it bad food combing to mix it w/ seeds and nuts? It agave a vegetable? I make seed candies w/ seeds, nuts, carob, spirulina, and agave nectar. maybe I should be changing my recipe. Anyone know? I doesn't mention carob or agave on any of my food combination charts

Don't worry about it. Sounds good to me if it feels good to you. Wanna give us the full recipe?

As far as agave and carob, maybe do a google search?

agave is a cactus nectar (like a syrup or like honey)

carob is a pod ,and a lot like cocoa powder


these are condiments ,so not a lot is used - if you want to get into food combining fruits and nuts ARENT too good together -but it all depend how "strict" you want it!

Ok. sooo , nuts + fruit + pool = revvels perfect mix :p
