This whole year for 8 months ive gently been trying to find strength and health and motivation to try to heal my body and mind from ptsd and deep depression.

My hair has been coming out in clumps and still continuing - i loved my locks - still have them but very thin , sparse and wirey afraid to brush.

My whole body aches and everything is slow - its hard to put any pressure on myself without mentally and pysically breaking down and even sleeping for days.

Last year i faced alot of fears from long term social phobia and felt amazing only was emo abused and then suffered an ED for a short time - bulimia and binging due to emotional stuff.About 6 months it lasted.

7 months now and ive never been so ill in my life.

25 yo and want to get better.

Anyone else suffer ptsd and considering or doing a juicefeast?

Hi Blue!

I'm glad you are here. I dealt with PTSD last year and part of the year before and it was awful. I went into therapy and used a workbook on anxiety which really helped me. I'm finally able to sleep at night and am pretty much recovered except for some lingering social anxiety.

I've been raw for 2 1/2 months and just started the MC Monday. I have noticed a change since being raw and that is my social anxiety is a lot less. You'd never find me in a gym before since I'm overweight. But now, I'm there 2-3 times a week and have joined a marathon training group. I just don't care anymore. Here I am so deal with it!

I say go for the juice feast and see how it goes. It's your body and emotional health and you can and will make the correct decisions for yourself and it may take some time to find out which path is the correct one for you. I'm glad you are being proactive in your care and are looking for answers. I hope you find them soon and recover. I remember feeling like I was living in hell and couldn't wait to get out.

Hang in there and let us know how you are doing!! {{{{HUGS}}}}
