It seems as though I can't tolerate anything I'm eating!

I'm eating only fruit in the morning, salad and nuts in the afternoon and for dinner..and then more fruit in the evening.

I stopped the sprouts 'cause I thought that might be the problem...but I"m getting rather concerned as it's actual stomach pain..plus bloating and gas. Any thoughts? Could it be flu do you think?

THanks

Heather

Well, bloating and gas are causing the stomach pain.

Could be the nuts. Also possible you are having a reaction to one or more of the fruits. Anyone available to do some muscle testing? How are your bm's?

One thing I'd do is, drink water.

Also, if this were me, I'd probably do a few enemas though ~ enough to get the water running clear.

btw ~ "flu" is detox.

BMs...once a day...good colour though..not dark. It seemed to really flare up after my liveburger for lunch (almonds, pecans, carrot, garlic, onion)..I have never enema'd :> that would prob be a good idea.
I drink at least 3 litres of water a day as well.

Thanks for the suggestions,

heather

are the nuts used in your liveburgers or the nuts you eat, period, soaked? I get stomach discomfort (gass and bloating) when I eat unsoaked nuts or anything made with unsoaked nuts.

Rawkinlocs has a great point. I have been reading so much about how important it is to soak nuts before consuming.

Ahhh, yeah, which wasn't mentioned in the original post.

Has it digested yet? Feel better now?

Good point Rawkinlocs, I had put in unsoaked walnuts (the recipe stated unsoaked was ok). That could be it, though since this post I think i've deduced that it's sprouts! At least, soy and garbanzo I believe. I had some pea sprouts and was fine. Maybe I"ll stick to mung and smaller ones that seem to not create the "inner turmoil". Thanks for your input!

Unsoaked walnuts are fine, but almonds NEED to be soaked to be digested. Pecans also do not soak.

I can NOT tolerate garbanzo or soy sprouts, that would be my guess in all of this.

Fruits if eaten with or after nuts can cause gas and bloating or if you are eating melons with any other fruits, melons are best digested when eaten alone or at least 30 minutes before anything else.

They can go through your whole system very quickly, but get stuck if they hit something in the digestive track.

I always think of a Japanese subway station. Where all of these people (melons) are waiting to get on the train (digestive tract) and can't because it is full (other food), so they just glom together, then can't move. I was in Japan and would witness this phenomenon, so it is an easy one for me to relate to.

Although I suppose you could use any subway or bus for that matter.

But it kind of fun imagining all these little melons. :o)
